SAFETY MANAGEMENT
1. The liquid electrostatic power supply must be properly
earthed before use:
The grounding of the liquid electrostatic power supply is a basic
requirement for a safer operation. In the liquid electrostatic power
supply, a HV generator is provided for absorbing the electrons
of earth and sending to the power supply through the grounding
wire. These electrons are sent back to earth though the power
supply, spray gun and the coated object for forming a circuit.
Poor grounding will result in ineffective liquid electrostatic
enclosing or cause damage to the liquid electrostatic power
supply by the false potential inside the unit.
2. The sprayed object should be kept in grounding status
constantly.
Normally the sprayed object is grounded through a conveyer.
If the paint adheres onto the part where the sprayed object
contacts the lifting tool, it may result in poor conductivity of the
object and make it become engaged; thus, causing a poor liquid
electrostatic enclosing effect or even generating sparks for
causing fire. Therefore, the paint adhering to the lifting tool must
be removed regularly.
T
o improve the operational safety and ensure the over time use of the
manual liquid electrostatic spray gun, be sure to comply with the following
requirements:
