DTX 1800/1801 TIG
TIG-2-stroke - welding with HF-Start
Start welding:
1. Press the button "HF" until the LED for "HF" lights up
2. Please touch the workpiece with the end of the electrode
3. Press the button of the torch: After the set time for the gas pre-flow the arc ignites and the
welding process begins.
Stop welding:
1. Release the trigger of the torch. The welding current will drop gradually, the arc is
extinguished and the adjusted gas post-flow begins.
WIG-2-stroke - welding with LIFT-Start (without HF)
Start welding:
1. Make sure that the LED for "HF" is turned off. If this isn’t the case, please press the button
“HF" for about 2 seconds until the LED is off.
2. Touch the workpiece with the end of the electrode
3. Press the button of the torch: After the set time for the gas pre-flow the arc ignites and the
welding process begins.
Stop welding:
1. Release the trigger of the torch. The current will drop gradually, the arc is extinguished
and the adjusted gas post-flow begins.
8.3 TIG-welding 4-stroke
1. Press the button "MODE" until the LED signal "Tig 4t" appears
2. The display will flash for about 2 seconds and shows the letters "Tig 4t"
3. It lights up the LED for the set voltage
4. The LED of the switched arc is off
5. It lights up the LED for the welding current
6. Welding current regulation: With the Potentiometer you can set the welding current, which
is shown in the display.
7. Regulation of the Slope-down time: Please press the button "FUNCTION" until the LED
"t2" lights up. The display flashes and shows the letters "Sld". With the potentiometer, the
value from 0.1 to 10 seconds can be set.
