If there is not enough knowledge always turn to a pro-
fessional when mounting.
• The fan should be mounted according to this assem-
bly
instruction.
• The fan must be mounted to roof curb (TFU, see
sep. assembly instruction Art.no 1270370).
• The fan should be installed in a safe way and make
sure that no foreign objects are left behind.
• The fan should be installed in a way that makes ser-
vice and maintenance easy.
• The fan should be installed in a way that vibrations
not can be transferred to duct or building. To provi-
de this, use for example a flange.
• Consider the weight of the fan.
• TKV/TKH (except TKV/TKH 560 A1) is provided
with handles on each side.
• Make sure that the access cable is not damage when
mounting and installation.
• NB! Do not start the fan before mounted.
• Before starting the fan the installation must be in-
spected.
• Consider the placement, so there is enough space
when open the fan for cleaning and maintenance.
• Pay attention to the placement of the connection
cable, to prevent damage when maintaining the fan.

The junction box has a mounting plate
which is mounted with screws in pre-
punched holes on the fan or on the roof curb.
There are also holes on the mounting plate for Östberg
Safety switch E 31 663 10 (Art.no 4020174).
Mounting holes for M8 screws for
mounting on to Östberg TFU.
These are plugged so an alternatively
mounting may be used.
Lock the fan
to the inlet with
4x M8 screws.
