Platform Console

OFF OR NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN RELEASED.

Drive Speed/Torque Select Switch
The forward position gives maxi

mum drive speed. The back posi
-
tion gives maximum torque for
rough terrain and climbing
grades. The center position
allows the machine to be driven
as quietly as possible.
ONLY USE THE PLATFORM LEVELING OVERRIDE FUNCTION FOR SLIGHT LEVELING OF
THE PLATFORM. INCORRECT USE COULD CAUSE THE LOAD/OCCUPANTS TO SHIFT OR
FALL. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
2.
Platform Leveling Override
A three position switch allows the operator to
adjust the platform leveling system. This
switch is used to adjust platform level in situa
-
tions such as ascending/descending a grade.
3.
Horn
A push-type Horn switch supplies electrical
power to an audible warning device when pressed.
4.
Power/Emergency Stop Switch
A two-position red mushroom shaped switch
furnishes power to Platform Controls when
pulled out (On). When pushed in (Off), power
is shut off to the platform functions.
5.
Start/Auxiliary Power
When pushed forward, the switch energizes the
starter motor to start the engine.
The Auxiliary Power control switch energizes the
electrically operated hydraulic pump. (Switch
must be held On for duration of auxiliary pump
use.)
