1. Purpose

The unit is designed to transmit messages from the line telephony-connected Control Panel

(in   the   following   formats  –  tone   Contact   ID   or   pulse   20bps)   to   Orlan   CMS   using   wireless
3G communication   channels   (WCDMA   900/2100 MHz,   HSDPA,   HSUPA)   and   GSM
(850/900/1800/1900 MHz).

According to EN54-21, the unit transmits fire alarm messages and warns of malfunction.
To use mobile networks, one or two SIM cards are inserted into the unit, the data transmission

parameters of each SIM card are configured separately.

The   unit   has  an   input   for   the   relay  output   of   the   Control   Panel   to   transmit   fire   alarm

messages and an input to transmit malfunction warnings. Both the inputs are protected against the
external electromagnetic effect according to EN54-21.

Attention! The unit has no built-in cameras, microphones, devices or units for covert

video or audio recording.

2. Safety Precautions

Only the employees, familiar with the Control Panel arrangement, instructed on the safety

arrangements, and having the permit to work with electrical installations of up to 1000 V shall be
allowed to install, routinely maintain and repair the device.

Attention! The unit has no open live parts posing the electrical shock hazard.
