6. When the self-
test is successfully completed, the screen will display “PAS” with three beeps and all three diodes will
flash simultaneously three times.
The screen will display “CO” with no backlight and then “0ppm”.
7. If the self-test was
faulty, the screen will display “Err”, the yellow diode will flash two times and the buzzer will beep two
times at the same time. The above will be repeated every 60 seconds.
8. When testing the device make sure its sound is well heard in all bedrooms.
9. Never use open fire to test the device.
10. Never place the device close to your ears when detecting or testing as it may cause serious damage to your hearing.
HUSH FUNCTION:
It is possible to hush the alarm sound of the device. In order to do that, press TEST button when the CO detector is
alarming and it will be hushed for 5 minutes. If the CO is still at the dangerous level, the detector will continue to alarm.
