Important Orlit Rover RT TTL Feature Notes
1.
Freeze mode [FRE]
Freeze mode can be used only in M (Manual) mode. The mode pro-
vides the shortest flash duration for ultra stop action.
2.
Wireless remote control
When TTL-C (Canon), TTL-N (Nikon) TTL-S (Sony), or
TTL-F (Fujifilm) is selected in wireless remote control on screen,
Rover RT TTL is set to be triggered or controlled ONLY by an Orlit
or Canon RT TTL trigger.
When A6 is selected in wireless remote control on screen, Rover RT
TTL can be controlled by a TR-A6 or TRS-V transmitter offered by
Flashpoint. In this mode, GR does not appear on the Rover RT TTL.
Set the TRS-V in the same channel on the Rover RT TTL.
When TRS is selected in wireless remote control on screen, Rover RT
TTL can be controlled by a TRS transmitter offered by Flashpoint. In
this mode, GR does not appear on Rover RT TTL. Set the TRS to the
same channel on the Rover RT TTL.
3.
Overheat protection
In the event of thermal overheating, the Rover RT TTL will automati-
cally go into overheat protection mode, display an OH symbol on the
LCD and shut down. When the unit cools down sufficiently, the flash
will start to work again.
4.
Continuous Capture
When the camera is set to continuous capture mode, or high speed
repetitive shooting, the power output range of Rover RT TTL is 1.0 to
3.0. However, Rover RT TTL does not have any confirmation display of
continuous capture mode on the LCD panel.
