LAN Setting
The
Basic Setting > LAN Setting
page is mainly for setting IP address of LAN interface.
To access the AP normally, a valid IP address of your LAN should be specified to the
LAN interface. The default IP setting is DHCP server (Obtain an IP address
automatically).
The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Label
Description
Obtain an IP address
automatically
Select this option if you would like to obtain an IP address
automatically assigned by DHCP server in your network
Use the following IP
address
Select this option if you are manually assigning an IP address.
IP Address:
There is a default IP address in the AP, and you can
input a new IP address.
Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0 is the default Subnet Mask. All
devices on the network must have the same subnet mask to
communicate on the network.
Default Gateway:
Enter the IP address of the router in your
network.
Obtain DNS server
address automatically
This option is selected by DHCP server.
