Trouble Shooting
If you come across a problem, please use the checklist below before contacting your Origin dealer.
a) The Power Brush does not turn On.
•
Check that the on/off switch is in the "ON" position and the green LED is glowing.
•
Check the charging status of the battery. If the red LED is glowing, your battery might require charging.
b) The Power Brush has stopped during operation and the red LED is not glowing.
•
Check for roller brush jamming. Remove any debris wound around the roller and bearing holders by cut-
ting them with a pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. Avoid damaging or cutting the
bristles.
Wait a few minutes for the Battery Management System to reset itself.
c) The Power Brush has stopped during operation and the red LED is glowing.
•
Check the charging status of the battery. If the red LED is glowing, your battery might need to be
charged.
d) The suction performance is decreasing.
•
Check the Power Brush roller housing and the connecting elbow for a blockage and clear it if require. If
necessary, open the bottom plate to check the suction channel between the plate and the motor cover for
blockage (opening the plate is the same procedure as for replacing the belt). MAKE SURE Power is OFF.
•
Check the wand tube, handle, vacuum cleaner filters and bag for upstream blockages.
e) The Power Brush vibrates and makes a high pitch noise.
•
Check the roller brush for strings, rubber bands or large amount of fibres jammed around the roller and
bearing end cap assembly. Remove all debris wound around the roller, bearings and end caps by cutting
them with a pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. If necessary, open the bottom
plate to check the suction channel for blockage between the plate and the motor cover (opening the plate
is the same procedure as for replacing the belt). MAKE SURE Power is OFF. Avoid damaging or cutting
the bristles.
•
Check the belt for excessive wear and replace it if require, according to the above procedure.
f) The motor is spinning but the roller brush does not turn.
•
Check for a broken or worn out belt and replace it according to the above procedure.
For any further issues, please contact your authorized Origin dealer.
Do not attempt to access to the motor compartment or the battery system as this can
cause harm and destroy the battery cells. All warranty will be void if this
occurs. Any electrical work should only be carried out by an Origin authorized dealer.
WARRANTY
Origin Cleaning Equipment Pty Ltd (Origin) warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects
in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from date of purchase,
provided such claims are submitted through and approved by Origin authorized dealers. Origin will under warranty
repair or replace without charge, except for transportation costs, parts that fail under normal use and service when
operated and maintained in accordance with the applicable operation and instruction manuals.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear, or to items whose life is dependent on their use and care, such as
brush roller, belt and elbow.
The battery has a pro rata warranty.
All warranted items become the sole property of Origin Cleaning Equipment Pty Ltd.
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and releases Origin from all other
obligations and liabilities. Origin is not responsible for costs for repairs performed by persons other than those
specifically authorized by Origin. This warranty does not apply to damage from transportation, alterations by
unauthorized persons, misuse or abuse of the equipment, or damage to property, or loss of income due to
malfunction of the product.
If a difficulty develops with this product, you should contact the dealer from whom it was purchased.
