1. Cleaning the roller brush :
The Power Brush roller must be free of debris for efficient cleaning and maximum suction.
When cleaning is required, switch Off the Power brush and turn it over to inspect the bottom. If debris is
wound around the roller brush, remove debris carefully by cutting them with a pair of small nail scissors
and pulling them with tweezers. MAKE SURE Power Brush is OFF. Avoid damaging or cutting the
bristles.
2. Replacing the drive Belt :
Depending on how much you use your Power Brush, its drive belt will occasionally need to be replaced.
When a new belt is required, switch Off the Power Brush (Green light goes Off) and turn it upside down.
•
First remove the 2 screws located at the back of the plate on both sides of the connecting elbow.
Then, using a 5 or 6 mm flat screw driver, pry open the plate, starting from one side of the
connecting elbow, around the Power Brush to the other side of the elbow.
•
Remove the plate from the main body.
•
Lift up the brush roller and bearing end cap assembly and disengage the old belt from the roller
and motor pulley.
•
Remove any debris wound around the roller and bearing end cap assembly by cutting them with a
pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. Avoid damaging or cutting the bristles.
•
Fit the new belt over the motor shaft and roller pulleys.
•
Gently pull the assembly toward the front of the Power Brush in order to locate both roller bearing
end caps into their respective cavities.
•
Check if the roller and motor shaft are moving freely by turning the roller by hand.
•
Fit the bottom plate back on by carefully pushing it downward until the front lip click back to its
original location.
•
Locate and tighten the 2 screws at the back of the plate.
During this operation, do not attempt to move or remove the battery assembly.
