Congratulations on the purchase of your new Origin PB38 Battery Power Brush. Before you start using it, we
recommend that you carefully read the instructions below thoroughly and that you keep this manual for future
reference.
Although this Power Brush can be attached to any dry vacuum cleaner fitted with a standard 32 mm hose &
wand assembly, it must be operated in accordance with these instructions and used for its intended purpose
as described in these instructions.
This appliance should not be operated by young children or infirm persons, without proper supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this appliance. When using this
Power Brush, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:

SAFE AND PROPER USE OF THIS MACHINE
1. Use this Power Brush only to vacuum dry dirt from carpets or hard flooring. Do not use it for wet pick up.
2. Use this Power Brush only as described in this manual.
3. Keep the Power Brush away from heated surfaces.
4. Do not use the Power Brush to pick up strings, rubber bands, wires or building materials such as wood
shavings, plaster or brick pieces, broken glass, gravels, etc, as it will jam and damage the roller brush mech-
anism or block the air intake.
5. Always store this Power brush indoors and do not use it if it has been exposed to rain or water. If so, return
the unit to an authorized dealer for examination.
6. Always switch Off the charger at the wall before removing the charger connector from the Power Brush.
7. Always switch Off the Power Brush before disassembling it from the wand.
8. Always keep the Power Brush in motion when vacuumimg to prevent unnecessary wear of the roller brush.
Do not stand still.
9. Always use your fingers to depress the On/Off switch. Do not use your foot to switch it On & Off.
10. Do not plug the charger into the wall outlet before connecting the charger connector to the charging sock-
et on the Power Brush.

. Do not charge the battery in an enclosed area where there is vapors given off from oil based
paints, paint thinners, flammable dust, powdered milk, or other explosive or toxic vapors.

12. Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug.
13. Do not use the Power Brush if it shows any sign of visible damage.
14. Do not pick up hot objects, cigarette butts, matches or any smoking or burning objects.
15. Do not pick up water or other liquids, flammable or combustible materials or use this Power Brush in the
presence of explosive liquids or vapors. This is not an explosion proof device.
16. Do not clean the Power Brush with water or liquid cleaners.
17. Do not run over the vacuum cleaner cable with the Power Brush as it could get damaged.
18. Do not attempt to touch the brush roller with your fingers while the power Brush is switch On as it may
cause sever injuries.
19. Do not attempt to remove or disconnect the battery as this can cause harm and destroy the battery. All
warranty will be void if this occurs. Any electrical work should only be carried out by an authorized dealer.
