Inpsection and filling up
CAUTION
HST oil is clean in the beginning, however, after the hours of operation dust inside the HST unit is accumulated
and oil gets dirty, causing problem for smooth work of HST unit. For the safe and comfortable use of machine,
regularly replace the HST oil. Especially in the hard condition, first replacement is recommened in less than 20
hours. Otherwise, metal powder inside the HST unit will choke the oil filter and cause trouble in driving(especially
reverse driving).
1)
Check HST oil tank and level of oil. If the level is not in between
the UP and LOW, open the oil cap and add oil as needed.
2)
Moisture adsorption sheet is placed inside the HST oil tank, in
order to avoid HST trouble and also to adsorp the water caused by
condensation.
Replacement
CAUTION
1) In case of HST oil replacement, wait until HST oil tank and HST unit is cooled down. They are still very hot
just after the engine is stopped, and it may lead to burn.
2) HST oil is also called as hydraulic oil, which transmits the engine rotation into to driving. It also helps to
lubrication, anti-rust effect, and cooling down. However, if oil is not properly maintained, it gives problem for
driving. Always use recommended oil for replacement and adding.
1)
Prepare oil container. Loosen the HST oil tank cap, and remove
the oil plug(Hexagonal, M22) located in under the HST unit.
2)
When the oil is completely drained, place the oil plug and fix it.
Then remove the HST oil tank cap.
3)
Put 500ml of HST oil and also relace the moisture adsorption
sheet at same time.
4)
After the HST oil is filled, make sure that HT oil tank cap is
securely fixed.
