Other non-linear loads such as phase controlled SCR bridges or some types of power
factor corrected “front ends” will be adversely affected by the modified sinewave
produced by this equipment. These devices require a sinusoidal voltage for proper
operation and timing.
It should be noted that this unit produces a waveform with square edges. These
waveform produce harmonics at frequencies much higher than the fundamental
(50/60Hz). Some loads may be affected by these harmonics. If there is any doubt as to
the suitability of this equipment for a particular application, consult the Behlman
engineering department for assistance.
