Instruction Manual
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, the user should read the following
instructions carefully.
Specifications:
1. Display selection key with touch button: g/oz

Important hints
• Do not clean the scale with water and do not immerse it in
water.
• The display can be changed between grams ( gm ) and
ounces ( oz ) and lb:oz by using the appropriate key “g/oz”.
• If this capacity is exceeded, the symbol “EEEE” appears in
the display.
• This scale has been designed for household use only and it is
not suitable for medical or commercial applications; it is not
officially calibrated.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Before the scale is use for the first time, the protective strip in
the battery compartment must be removed.
Operation
- Position the scale on a firm and level surface.
- To weigh recipe ingredients place the bowl on the scale
- To switch the unit on, press the “On Key”. The “0” symbol
appears in the display. To allow for any additional weight,
always make sure to position the bowl on the scale before
the unit is switched on.
- Add the ingredients to the bowl used, until the desire weight
is displayed.
- After use, the scale may be switch off by holding down the
On/Tare key.However, the unit will switch off automatically
if no key is pressed within a 60- seconds period.
Batteries
• The symbol LO appears if the battery needs replacing.
• To insert or replace the battery, open the battery compartment
located underneath the unit. When inserting the battery,
always observe the correct polarity. Please put 3 x AAA
battery into the battery compartment with correct anode
cathode.
• Remember to protect the environment. Never dispose of old
batteries in domestic garbage. Old batteries must be disposed
through the proper local special garbage collection points.
Cleaning and Care
• The housing may be wiped with a soft dry or slightly damp,
lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any abrasive, harsh cleaning solutions or
aggressive solvents for cleaning.
Ecology – Environmental Protection
The “crossed-out trash bin” symbol on electrical
equipment or packaging indicates that the device
cannot be treated as general household waste and
should not be disposed of into containers for such waste.
Obsolete or broken-down electrical device
should be
delivered to special designated collection points, organized by
local public administration, whose purpose is to collect recy
-
clable electrical equipment.
This way, each household helps reduce possible negative
effects influencing natural environment and allows the
reclaiming of materials which the product is made of.
