In the following cases, the setting cannot be
changed:
– "Powered Zone 3" is set to "Yes", and ZONE2 and
ZONE3 are set to on.
– "Front Speakers Type" is set to "Normal“ or
"Passive Subwoofer" is set to "Yes", "Powered
Zone 2" is set to "Yes" and ZONE2 is set to on.

In the following cases, the settings for "Level Calibration" cannot be changed:
– A speaker which is set to "None" in "Speaker Configuration".
– "Subwoofer 2" if "Subwoofer" is set to "1ch".
– "Subwoofer 1" and "Subwoofer 2" if "Subwoofer" is set to "No".
– A speaker which is set to "Not Use" in "Height 1 Speakers Type" or "Height 2 Speakers Type".
– Mute (MUTING) is set.

The test tone is output at the standard level for THX, which is 0 dB (absolute volume setting 82). If you
normally listen at volume settings below this, be careful because the test tone will be much louder.

If you are using a handheld sound level meter, adjust the level of each speaker so that it reads 75 dB
SPL at the listening position, measured in C-Weighting and slow reading.
