Various Playback Modes

These are the available playback modes:
• 1-group playback (Only MP3 CDs)
• Random playback
• Memory playback
By pressing the [PLAY MODE] button, the indicator 
changes in this order: GROUP

 MEMORY

 RAN-

DOM 

o

 No play mode display 

o

Normally, all of the MP3 tracks in all of the groups on 
the disc are played. In 1-group playback, only the MP3 
tracks in the specified group are played.

To Cancel 1-Group Playback

• Press the Stop [ ] button to stop the playback.
• 1-group playback is cancelled when the disc is 

ejected.

In random playback, all of the tracks on the disc are 
played in random order.

To Cancel Random Playback

• Stop the playback, then press the [PLAY MODE] but-

ton to change the playback mode. The RANDOM 
indicator disappears, and random playback is can-
celled.

• Random playback is cancelled when the disc is 

ejected.

Press the [PLAY MODE] button 
repeatedly until only the GROUP 
indicator is lit.

You can select any group that contains 
tracks.

“1 GRP PLAY” on the display appears, 
then the playback starts with the first 
track of the selected group.

At the end of the last track of the 
selected group, the playback stops.
