SPEAKER SETUP
CENTER
• ON
Select when a center speaker is connected.
• OFF
Select when a center speaker is not
connected.
REAR
• ON
Select when rear speakers are connected.
• OFF
Select when rear speakers are not connected.
SUBWOOFER
• ON
Select when a subwoofer is connected.
• OFF
Select when a subwoofer is not connected.
Notes
• When "DOWNMIX" is set to "LT/RT",
"STEREO", or "3D VIRTUAL", "CENTER",
"REAR" and "SUBWOOFER" are set to "OFF"
automatically.
• When "AUDIO OUT" is set to "SPDIF/PCM",
"CENTER", "REAR" and "SUBWOOFER" are
set to "OFF" automatically even if
"DOWNMIX" is set to "OFF".
Customizing the Function Settings
DOWNMIX
Select the method of 2 channel down-mixing of
multi channel audio.
• LT/RT
Select when you connect the DVD Player to
an amplifier with 2 channel input jacks and
Dolby Pro Logic decoder. Down-mix signal of
5.1 ch in the way based on the standard of
Dolby, and output as a signal of 2 ch. If the 2
ch signal is inputted into Dolby Surround
decoder, it is reproduced by 4ch (front 3ch,
one rear).
• STEREO
Outputs stereo sound from an amplifier with
2 channel input jacks or TV. Carry out stereo
down-mixed signal of multi channel audio.
• 3D VIRTUAL
Outputs 3D Virtual surround sound from an
amplifier with 2 channel input jacks or TV.
Carry out 3D virtual down-mixed signal of
multi channel audio.
• OFF
Select when you connect the DVD Player to
an amplifier with multi channel input jacks.
Down mix processing is not carried out.
Note
To enjoy the 3D Virtual Surround sound, set
“AUDIO OUT” to “SPDIF/RAW”.
