MP3 compatibility information
• MP3 is music data compressed by MPEG1
AUDIO LAYER 3 or MPEG2 AUDIO LAYER 3 file
format. The file with the file extension “.mp3” is
called MP3 file.
• The CD-ROM must be ISO 9660 or Joliet
compatible.
• Files should be MPEG1 Audio Layer 3 or MPEG2
Audio Layer 3 format, 32, 44.1 or 48kHz, fixed
bit-rate. Incompatible files will not play.
• This system only plays tracks that are named
with the file extension “.mp3” or “.MP3”.
• This system is not compatible with multi-session
discs.
• Only the first 11 characters of folder and track
names are displayed (only single-byte characters
and numerals).
