4.8 - System Date/Time
This menu is simple, containing only a few date and time settings.
Data-Link DL100 - System Date/Time
A) Current Date [MON 01/10/2000]
B) Current Time [01:13:16]
C) Adjust for Daylight Savings [ON]
Current Date
brings up a prompt asking for the date. The unit will calculate the day of the week.
Current Time
prompts for the current time.
Note:
The date and time settings are maintained by means of an internal battery backup when power is
removed from the DL100.
Adjust for Daylight Savings
is an on/off toggle that allows automatic daylight savings time
updating.
A brief explanation of daylight savings time: On the first Sunday in April, clocks are set ahead
one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3:00 a.m. local daylight time. On the
last Sunday in October, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 a.m. local daylight time, which
becomes 1:00 a.m. local standard time.
4.9 - Polling/Other Settings
This menu contains some polling and miscellaneous settings for the DL100. Following is an
example of the root menu.

J) CBB Timeout [15]
K) Release Mode [LINE]
L) Release Compressed [OFF]
Unit ID
is the identification string that is included with alarm messages and at the top of the main
status screen. The Unit ID is also sent within each SNMP trap. This string should be unique for
clarity when responding to alarm notifications and connecting to the device.
