Answer String
sets the string presented when a user connects the unit via Telnet or modem.
Confirm Before Deletion
toggles a confirmation message asking, “Are you sure (y/n)?” when
using the following commands: ZERO, DEFAULT, ZAP, COLDSTART, and FTEST.
Wait for NEXT
causes the unit to wait for the NEXT command before sending data once the RL
command has been issued.
Omit END DATA
causes the unit to send or omit the string “END DATA” when a command
processor poll is complete.
Linetag
adds or omits the serial number line tags on each line.
CBB/Xmodem Autodelete
is an on/off toggle controlling whether the unit will automatically
delete each record as it is successfully polled via Xmodem or CBB.
CBB DLE Stuffing
is a CBB-specific configuration option.
CBB Retransmits
is a CBB-specific configuration option.
CBB Timeout
is a CBB-specific configuration option.
Release Mode
is a toggle containing the following options: line, CBB, and Xmodem.
Release Compressed
toggles simple space compression of released data. Compressed line mode
uses the following simple compression algorithm to speed up data transfer:
Spaces in compressed line mode are replaced with lowercase alphabetic characters. ‘a’ = 1 space;
‘n’ = 14 spaces; ‘ze’ = 26+5 spaces, or 31.
Note:
When using compressed line mode, the original record may contain no lowercase letters in order
to avoid data damaged by a decompression process.
