Stereo Operation
In stereo mode, both channels are operated independently of each other. The highest output power during
stereo operation is achieved by connecting 4
Ω
speakers. With 8
Ω
speakers the output power will be slightly
reduced. For stereo operation, use both speaker pairs and make sure the operating mode selector switch is
disengaged.
Bridge Operation (Model XDA-1002)
In bridge mode, both amplifier channels are combined to one mono amplifier achieving the highest output
power at one speaker. The input signal of channel A is additionally switched to channel B in an inverted way.
Thus, the voltage at the output is doubled and subsequently the output impedance. A signal at the input of
channel B is ignored. The volume is adjusted with the control of channel A together for both outputs. For
bridge operation, press the operating mode selector switch.
