Adjusting the Input level on the Transmitter
Feed an input signal to the transmitter and adjust the level control
INPUT LEVEL
in such a way that the transmitter is controlled to an
optimum level. Via the level meter the input level is indicated separately
for the left input and the right input. It is possible to attenuate the input
signal by 12 dB: for this, set the rear sliding control
PAD
to the left
position –12 dB.
Monitoring the Transmitter via Headphones
The audio signal of the transmitter can be monitored via headphones connected to the jack
HEADPHONES
.
Adjust the volume for the headphones with the control
VOLUME
.
Adjusting the Level and Balance on the Receiver

Adjust the desired volume for the earphones by turning the volume control in clockwise direction.

Unfold the front cover and adjust the balance, i.e. the volume ratio between the left and right earphone,
with the buttons ▲ and ▼. The selected value will be indicated on the display.
Note: It will not be possible to adjust the balance while the setting menu is called.
Further Functions in the Setting Menu of the Transmitter
Besides the transmission frequency the operating mode and lock mode can be adjusted via the setting menu
on the transmitter.
Operating Mode Stereo/Mono
As a basic setting the operating mode stereo is selected, i.e. the input signals of the two channels will be
separately sent as a stereo signal. In this menu item you can switch to mono operation. Then only the input
signal of the right channel will be sent to both sides.
Press the button
SET
so many times until the indication “
STEREO
”
starts flashing on the display. Use the button ▲ or ▼ to select stereo
operation (indication STEREO) or mono operation (indication MONO).
By short actuation of the button
SET
the following menu item is
selected. After 5 seconds the setting procedure will be cancelled
automatically.
Lock mode
To prevent accidental change of adjustments in the setting menu, it is possible to activate the lock mode.
Press the button
SET
so many times until the key lock symbol starts
flashing on the display. Use the button ▲ or ▼ to select “
LOC
OFF
”
(lock mode deactivated) or “
LOC
ON
” (lock mode active). With the
function activated the key lock symbol is indicated on the display. By
short actuation of the button
SET
the following menu item is selected.
After 5 seconds the setting procedure will be cancelled automatically.
