OMNI STAND ASSEMBLY
1.
Assemble Circular Base on a Flat Surface
: Consists of
6 curved segments (#5) and 3
T-Pole Connectors
(#6). Insert the
curved poles into the T-Connectors via snap-lock push buttons,
using 1 male/male and 1 male/female pole between each T-Pole
Connector. If any joint seems difficult to connect try switching
pieces around. A rubber mallet may be necessary to connect joints.
2.
Assemble Tripod
: Consists of 9 pole segments
(#2,#3,#4) with 3 segments making up each vertical pole. These
pole segments are slightly less curved than the circular base poles.
NOTE:
All
middle
pole segments (#3) have 2 male ends
(
male/male
). All other pole segments are
male/female
(#2, #4). The
bottom
segment (#4) of the
handlebar pole
is distinguishable by 2
small 1”x2”
square brackets
, whereas the
middle
segment of the
handlebar pole has only one bracket. All pole segments have O-
rings welded to the outer side for use with exercise tone-bands and
other accessories.
STEPS:
First insert and snap lock male end of
upper segments
(#2)
into the top
Triplex Swivel Unit
(#1). Insert the 3
middle pole
segments
(#3) into female ends of upper segments. Lastly insert
female ends of
bottom segments
(#4) into the male middle pole
segments. You now have a fully assembled upper tripod.
3.
Connect Tripod to Base:
Insert the entire Tripod as a
unit into the Circular Base by placing the bottom of each pole
loosely onto the top of the
T-pole connectors
. Once all three poles are loosely in place, snap-lock each pole
down into the T-Pole Connectors. If using height adjust tubes, insert before snap locking tripod into base.
4.
Insert LADDER BARS
(#8) into the three square brackets (#9). You now have a fully assembled Omni Stand.
Important:
All 3 handlebars must be on the same upright pole, with double brackets on
bottom segment,
or the
Omni Stand may not assemble correctly.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD (if ceiling is too low to lift and drop tripod into base):
If you cannot lift the tripod high enough to place it onto the base, try this method.
Do not assemble the base.
Assemble only the vertical tripod (step 2). Once tripod is fully assembled, insert the Connector T´s into the
bottom of each pole (3 total). Lastly,
slide
the 6 base poles laterally into the T-Pole Connectors one at a time
(without lifting tripod). Your final assembly should resemble image above.
DISASSEMBLY:
The
key
is to start from the loosest and easiest joint you can find. That is usually one of the
joints of the vertical poles (either pole joint #3/4 or pole/T joint #4/6). Releasing this joint first will free up the
pressure and tension in the rest of the stand. Release tripod completely from the base. Once tripod is released
from base, find loosest joint of the base and repeat until all poles are disconnected from each other. If the base
is still too tight to disengage easily, lift it up standing outside of the base, rest it on your thigh and push slightly
inward with your hip to relax the outward tension, then disengage the loosest joint. Assembly and disassembly
becomes easier the longer the stand is used as it “settles in.”
