3.3.1 Installing the Laser Sight Module onto the Thermometer
When assembling the Laser Sight Module on top of the
thermometer, the thermometer should be off.
1. Remove the protective label from the Laser Sight Power contacts
located at the top of the thermometer. Slide the Laser Sight Module
over the “V” groove of the thermometer from back to front until it
locks and clicks in place. See Figure 3-4.
2. Set the power switch on the laser sight module to the ON position.
Figure 3-4. Installing the Laser Sight Module
3. Aim at the target and pull the trigger.
4. The laser beam and the red power indicator LED will turn on.
Refer to Figure 3-1.
The laser beam will stay on as long as the trigger is pulled. If the trigger
is locked (the
key is previously pressed) or released, the laser beam
will turn off. In order to turn on the Laser Sight Module again, pull the
trigger again.
Figure 3-5 shows the two different laser configurations. The laser
Dot indicates the center of the field of view of the thermometer.
The laser Circle indicates the perimeter of the thermometer’s field
