Induction Cooktop
Note:
The control knob decals
are printed on the bezels at the
base of each control knob
.
The cooktop inductive cooking
zones are each controlled by a
control knob on the front panel
(either side of the oven control
knobs).
Each cooking zone is
represented by a filled in
rectangle on the decal just above
the control knob.
LO : Heat maintenance
position.
MED : Heating in low temperature position.
HI : Cooking, frying and boiling position.
Position the control knob so the indicator is pointing upwards (off). Rotate the
control knob clockwise to increase the power delivered from the cooking zone.
Rotate the control knob anti-clockwise to reduce the power delivered from the
cooking zone. There are 9 power levels for each cooking zone.
To use a cooking zone, place a correctly sized utensil (it should be the same size or
slightly smaller than the decal on the glass) centrally on the cooking zone and adjust
the power level with the control knob. The power level will be displayed at the front
centre of the glass panel. If the utensil is made from incorrect material, too small or
not centred, the display will show a “U”.
When a cooking zone is turned off, the residual heat indicator (H) turns on. This will
turn off after the glass above the cooking zone cools down. Do not touch the glass
around the cooking zones during or after cooking until the residual heat indicator
turns off, as the glass may remain hot for some time.
Only use pots and pans with flat base and designed for use with induction cookops.
Always centre the pans on the cooking zones.
