Operation
Drain must be installed bellow pressure vessel, filter element, dryer, cyclone separator or
similar pressure system element. Through connection on the top condensate accumulates in
the drain reservoir. Increasing water level rises the floating buoyancy. When the condensate
level is high enough the floater unblocks the discharge orifice via levers and the condensate
is purged out through output connection. When condensate level drops floater drops with it
and blocks the discharge orifice. This operation prevents air loss.
On the front side of the drain is a TEST button, which if rotated in a clockwise direction.
Button lifts the float, which opens the outlet and drains the condensate. This can be done at
any time. The button can also be used as a release of pressure from the system. But for
longer release times of compressed air from the system, we recommend disconnecting all
devices from the OUTLET connection, such as traps, oil separators, piping, etc.
It is forbidden to use excessive force or other tools to rotate the test button.
