3.3 Connecting a CO2 gas cylinder

When using the cylinder hose (PIN, MAJ-1080), attach the clamp to a gas cylinder
filled with CO
2
gas. Attach the clamp to the adapter by placing the pin of the clamp
into the guide hole of the cylinder, and tighten the handle with a force of about
17.2 N·m (1.8 kgf/m).

When using the cylinder hose (MAJ-1081, MAJ-1082), use the supplied wrench to
attach the cylinder hose's adapter to a gas cylinder filled with CO
2
gas.

Confirm that the endoscopic CO
2
regulation unit and the CO
2
gas cylinder are
correctly connected and open the gas cylinder valve by turning it counterclockwise.
