7.2 Storage

When this instrument is not to be used for a certain period, store it as instructed below. Be sure to
perform the operation instructed in Section 7.1, “Care” before storing this instrument.
CAUTION
Do not store this instrument unit in a location exposed to direct sunlight, X-rays,
radio activity or strong electromagnetic radiation (e.g., microwave medical
treatment equipment, short-wave medical treatment equipment, MRI, radio
equipment, or cellular phones). Damage to this instrument may result.

Remove dust, dirt, and other stains on the surface by wiping with a piece of gauze
moistened with 70% ethyl or 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Make sure to dry this instrument and ancillary equipment after wiping with 70% ethyl
or 70% isopropyl alcohol.
7.2 Storage
Perform storage of the instrument by referring to the instruction manual for the
surgical microscope.
7.3 Disposal

Perform the maintenance operation as instructed in Section 7.1, “Care”.

Dispose of this instrument and/or accessories by observing your national and local
laws and guidelines.
