3.2 Connection of NBI unit

Check the position of the brake pedal, push it
until it hits the back, apply the brake, and
confirm that the surgical microscope is locked
to the floor.

Confirm that the surgical microscope and LED light source are turned OFF by
referring to their instruction manual.

Using the provided Allen screwdriver (3 mm width across flats), loosen the lock
screws (× 2) of the unit cover of the LED light source to be connected to this unit and
detach the unit cover.

CAUTION
Always use the Allen screwdriver (3 mm width across flats) provided with this
instrument for work. Otherwise, equipment damage may result.
NOTE
The unit cover lock screws (× 2) are not separable from the unit cover even after
they are loosened.
