The high intensity mode
cannot be set.
An incompatible endoscope or light
guide is connected to the output
socket.
Connect an endoscope or light guide
cable with high intensity mode
compatibility as described in
Section 4.12, “Inspection of the high
intensity mode”
The air/water feeding is not
being operated.
The air pump incorporated in the light
source is not working.
Operate the air/water feeding function
as described in Section 5.9, “Air/water
feeding”.
The endoscope is not connected to the
output socket.
Connect the endoscope to the output
socket securely as described in
Section 4.4, “Connection of an
endoscope”.
The light guide is connected to the
output socket.
Connect the light guide to an endoscope
with the air-feeding function.
NBI observation is disabled.
An incompatible endoscope is
connected.
Connect the endoscope compatible with
the NBI observation.
An incompatible light source cable is
connected.
Connect the light source cable correctly
as described in Section 3.6,
“Connection of the video system
center”.
The NBI observation mode is not
selected.
Press the observation mode button or
the observation mode select button to
select the NBI observation mode.
The endoscopic image is
not displayed on the
monitor.
Foreign objects such as detergent
remnants, hard water residue, finger
grease, dust, and lint are on the
electrical contacts.
Wipe the electrical contacts on the
endoscope connector using clean
lint-free cloths moistened with 70% ethyl
or 70% isopropyl alcohol and
completely dry them. After drying them,
connect the endoscope to the light
source.
The “Endoscope model” is
not displayed on the
monitor.
Foreign objects such as detergent
