Contrast
This function adjusts the contrast of images.
For example, images with strong differences in light and shadow can become
milder, while those with weaker differences can become more vivid.
In the top menu, select MODE MENU

Press after selecting the desired value to complete the setting. To start
shooting, press again.
Light and shadow are defined more clearly and images
look crisper.
Light and shadow are less defined and images become
softer, making this ideal for editing them on a
computer.
Factory default setting
Setting limitations and Default settings (Contrast)
Contrast can be adjusted within the range of 5 to 5 for all the shooting
modes. The default setting is 0 for all the shooting modes. The shooting
modes are classified into the following two groups in which the members
share the same setting with each other. If the setting is changed in one of the
members of a group, the changed setting is forcibly applied to the other
members of the group.
S-Prg ( Portrait, Sports, Landscape, Night-scene and
Movie modes), P and A/S/M shooting modes
