Pre-operation/post-operation inspections
CAUTION
•
When inspecting the insertion tube, be sure to hold it at a point behind the angulation section. Otherwise,
the angulation section may be damaged.

Also be sure to check the inspection items after using the instrument.

Are the mesh components on the exterior, except the
angulation section, loose?
Any water droplets or dirt on the distal end?
Continuing to use the instrument in this state may
damage the distal end.

Is the distal end deformed or loose?
Never use the instrument while there is any looseness
on the distal end. Doing so creates the risk of loose
parts falling into the inspection object.

Any abnormal wearing or deformation in the protection hood?
Is the protection hood loose?
Never use the optical adapter if any components are loose.
Otherwise, a loose part might fall into the inspection object.
LCD
monitor
Any surface cracks or other abnormalities?
NOTE
The LCD monitor is manufactured based on precision
technologies. The LCD monitor may contain pixels that do
not light (visible as black dots) or light permanently (visible
as bright dots). This does not indicate a defect or
malfunction of the product.

Battery
Is the battery deformed, cracked or leaking?
