Operation
Assemble the metal bracket enclosed for cooling the bound folders.
Connect the power cable to an easily accessible, standard electrical socket.
Caution:
Check that the voltage specifications of the unit correspond
to that of your power supply network (220-240 V, 50/60 Hz).

Switch on the On/Off switch on the right-hand side of the unit
(Position "I").

Wait until the yellow indicator lamp (Ready) lights up and an acoustic
signal is issued. The warm-up phase requires approx. 3 minutes.

Use the folder width switch to set the required width. (on the left-hand
side of the unit).
COUNTER time for < 16 mm = 80 seconds // >16 mm = 120 seconds

Insert the paper in the corresponding folder.

Insert the folder in the COUNTER slot with the closed side at the bot-
tom. The integrated clamping mechanism holds the paper perpendicu-
lar.

Press the COUNTER button; the green LED flashes.

When COUNTER has been completed successfully, an acoustic sig-
nal is issued and the green LED stops flashing.

Remove the folder and place it in the cooling device for 10 minutes.
Too short a cooling phase will result in sheets being loose.

Repeat steps 3-8 to bind more folders.
Caution:
The spine of the folder just bound is very hot.
Overheating Protection with Auto Off Feature

The unit is equipped with an Auto Off feature to protect folders, which
have not been removed, from overheating.

When the COUNTER process is finished, an acoustic signal is issued
and, at the same time, the Auto Off feature is activated.

If the COUNTER button is not pressed again within approx.10 min-
utes, the power supply is electronically switched off to prevent over-
heating.

To start COUNTER again, the unit must be switched off and on again.
