Regular Maintenance and Service
Clean the laminator at regular intervals and as necessary.
1.
Disconnect the power plug.

Switch the
Power switch

to
OFF
.

Wait until the laminator has cooled down.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of property damage. Risk of damage to the lam
-
inator through aggressive cleaning agents. Do not use any solvents or
cleaning agents.
4.
Clean all the surfaces of the housing with a soft, slightly moist, lint-free
cloth.
Removing Deposits and Residual Adhesive
Adhesive and other residues on the rollers can impair the lamination re
-
sult. Remove these at regular intervals and whenever the lamination result
is not as good as expected.

.

Press the
POWER

button.

Press the
Foil Thickness

button to select any foil thickness (except
COLD) and wait until the READY control lamp lights up green continu
-
ously.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns through hot machine surface! During
the laminating process, the machine surface heats up. Do not
touch the machine surface during the laminating operation.
Wait a few minutes after laminating until the laminator has
cooled down before you touch it.
4.
Fold a sheet of paper and feed it into the
infeed

of the laminator
with the folded edge first, keeping it straight. Residual adhesive is
removed and taken up by the paper when ejected.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns through hot residual laminated
material. When the paper is ejected after the cleaning process,
it can contain hot residual material. Remove the ejected paper
holding it at the cooled end.
5.
Repeat the process with a new sheet of paper until the paper comes
out clean.
