4. Design
The 2200x0.8 folding machine is composed of:
- main frame, fixed part with a square cross section,
- upper pressing beam, a moving part with a triangular cross section,
- folding beam, moving part with a rectangular cross section,
- base, two screwed T-shaped feet,
- optionally, the machine can be equipped with a circular knife or a coiler.
5. Operation of the folding machine
The machine is delivered disassembled. Upon acceptance of the folding machine the user should
check the completeness of the delivery and perform a visual inspection to find any damage
caused in transit. Before starting the operation install the feet by fastening them with 10x16 mm
bolts and put the machine in an upright position.
The machine is ready to operate when delivered to the user.
The operator must use the folding machine according to the safety requirements.
To keep the machine in an operational condition it must be maintained and the folding edges,
welded and bolted joints inspected need to be inspected.
The maintenance includes all the machine cleaning operations, general corrosion preventive
maintenance and operation checks. Frequency of maintenance inspections: once per quarter.
Perform lubrication every 100 hours of operation. Use ŁT-43 grease or machine oil.
6. Description and principle of operation
Sheet folding operation can be performed only after circular knifes are installed, if included in
the machine equipment.
