System errors
Problem Solution
The system is not powered
• Check that the DC power cord jack is inserted correctly. Make sure that the
220V power cord is connected correctly to the external power adapter.
• Check correct functioning of the external power adapter.
• Check correct functioning of the power switch.
The system does not start
• Check insertion or replace the RAM.
• Check all connections.
•
Check BIOS parameters (if necessary, restore default parameters with F10).
• Carry out recovery operations from HDD (WARNING: this operation cancels
all the data on the HDD).
• Replace the HDD.
• Replace the mother board.
CMOS error or loss of CMOS
data
• Restore BIOS default parameters with F10.
No video signal or incorrect
colours on video
• Check that the cable of the LCD video is connected correctly or replace the
cable.
• Replace the LCD video.
• Replace the mother board
