Open the right cover.
NOTE:
When the right cover is open, the paper lifter
will not descend if you press the switch for the paper
lifter.
It is easier to load new paper with the top cover open.

Align the paper flush against the left side in the back of
the feeder as you load it.
IMPORTANT:
Before loading the paper, be sure that it
is not curled or folded. Paper that is curled or folded
may cause paper jams.
Ensure that the loaded paper does not exceed the
level indicated. Exceeding the maximum level may
cause paper jam.

Close the top and right covers of the side feeder.
