Apply adhesive tape (A) to have references to the hooking points of the unit (fig. 25).
The tape can be
removed once the unit has been hooked to the wall.

Raise the
unit
holding it by the sides of the lower base and hook it to the brackets
(
fig.
26
, ref.L
).
Slightly tilt
the lower part of the
unit
towards yourself
to make it easier to mount the unit on the brackets
.

To make the electrical connection and fasten the drainpipe, place a wedge between the
unit and the
wall (see fig. 27).

When finished
, carefullly
inspect to ensure there are no
gaps
at the back of the
unit. T
he
insulating
gasket
must fit firmly against the wall
,
particularly in the
area
where
condenser air
enters and leaves
the unit.
2.4.6 - Electric hook-up
The
unit
is fitted with a power cord with
a plug. If the
wall socket is within the length of the cord simply plug it
in.
Plug type:
TYPE B NEMA 5-15 / CS22.2
Before connecting the unit ensure:
•
The power supply voltage and frequency match those indicated on the data plate
of the unit.
•
The power supply line is fitted with an efficient earth connection that is ap-
propriately sized for the maximum
current required by the unit
(minimum cross-
section of the cable must b
e 14 gauge awg
).
•
The unit is powered through a socket that is compatible with the plug supplied.

eplacement of the power c

must be
done
by
a qualified technician.
On the power supply line of the
unit
there must be an adequate omni
-
polar
disconnect device that complies with the national installation regulations.
The
installer must
check that the electrical power supply is equipped with
a ground
wire having
adequate protection against overloading
or
short circuits
. A

5 amp
AT delayed fuse or
an
other device
having
equivalent
ratings
are recommended).
2.4.5 - Positioning of the device on the anchor brackets
Using
the two previously drilled holes (see fig.6),
mount
the support brackets (L) to the wall using the
supplied wall plugs screws (H) (fig. 24).
Check to ensure the
support
brackets are firmly anchored to the
wall. Proceed as follows:
It is possible to
route an
electrical connection using a cable embedded into the
wall
, at the
position
shown
on
the
t
emplate
. The
recommended connection for
installing the
unit
is to the upper part of the wall).
•
This operation must be performed by the installer or similarly qualified
service technician as per local, state and/or national requirements.
•
To prevent the risk of an electric shock unplug or de-energize the unit before
making the electrical connections or any maintenance operation.
•
A dedicated circuit is recommended, yet not mandatory unless required
by local, state or national code.
