3) Specifications of the Ribbon Roll Size:
a. The diameter of the ribbon roll should be less than 36 m/m, width 216 mm and length 60 M.
(Core of the ribbon roll is 0.5“)
b. Use only the ribbon roll recommended for this machine to avoid poor printing.
c. (authorized supplier)
d. Store the unused ribbon in a dry and cool place.
4) How to Change the Ribbon Roll:
To remove the print ribbon
Remove the handset from it’s cradle before opening the front panel. This will prevent it falling off when the
panel is opened.
a. Follow instructions of 5.(1) to open operation panel and scanner unit.
b. Push up the green buttons marked 1 and 2. Open the document scanner unit by pulling it for ward as
shown below. Pull open the paper feed cover and remove the sheet of paper feed cover until it clicks shut
on both sides. The green hook located at the rear of the print ribbon compartment is for use when
removing the print ribbon.
When removing the print ribbon make sure to remove and save the cog and spigot from the front roll as these will
need to be inserted in the new print roll.
c. Remove the hook from its housing and use it to remove the old print ribbon by hooking it under the cog
(1) and lifting it up (2). Lift out the front roll.
d. Follow instructions of 2.(1) (a ~d) to load new ribbon.

Installation and Retreat of the Recording Paper
Paper is necessary to print out the received documents, copies, communication reports ... etc.
A. Installation of the Recording Paper
a. Lift the paper support guide.
b. Prepare a bundle of A4 size normal paper 210m/m 297m/m (50 pages maximum), and grasp
it at half of length by both hands.
c. Insert the bundle of paper to its location.
B. Recording Paper Retreat
a. Lift the top face of paper on paper tray then pull the loose of paper to completely release it,
push down the button to open the operation panel.
b. Open the next upper frame recording to the step of (2).1a ~b.
c. Release the lower guide and pull out the jam paper.
d. Reclose the lower guide, upper frame and operation panel.
You can use normal paper : ISO A4, about 80g/ (Photocopy type). However, it is suggested to use the
paper proposed by the manufacturer : you can have a better printing quality.
