Ignoring the first DIS
This function can be selected to compensate
for poor phone line quality. It causes the unit
to ignore the first DIS and "listen" for the
second DIS. This allows time for the line echo
to settle so a clear DIS can be recognized.

Interval between CED
and DIS
Selects the length of the interval between CED
and DIS. Use 1.5 seconds if phone lines are
poor quality. Settings: 75 ms or 1.5 seconds.

Protective Tone against
the Echo Suppresser
This tone enables the telco echo suppressers
to compensate for echo on overseas lines.
This function is available as a one touch
parameter. NOTE: This is a "global" setting.
It affects all calls.

Sensor Calibration
When set to ON the unit can perform a
calibration of the scanner sensor (CIS). This
setting returns to OFF once the scanner
calibration procedure has been executed.
