Installation

Setting Up Your Fax Machine

Install the Paper Tray/Copy Stacker

1

Slip the paper tray/copy stacker tabs into the
rearmost slots in the top of the unit. You will feel
them lock into place.

Install the Document Tray

1

Insert the document tray into the long horizontal slot
on the top of the unit. You will feel it lock into place. 

Install the Toner Cartridge

1

Open the fax machine’s top cover.

2

Remove the protective plastic cover from the toner
well in the image drum unit. 

Warning:

Be careful when handling the toner cartridge.

Do not let toner spill onto your clothing or other porous
materials. If you experience any problems with toner, see
the Safety chapter at the beginning of this handbook.
