Remote reset
EN 14459 requirements for remote control must be followed.
The reset device must be able to reset the burner in an appropriate way. Unintended or
spontaneous resets from lockout are not allowed.
If the burner can be reset without being within sight of the burner, the following
conditions must be met:
● Before reset, the user must be aware of system status.
● The number of successive resets must be limited to 5 or less within 15 minutes.
If the number is exeeded, further resets without checking the appliance must be
prevented.
6.8 Testing safety and control devices
Perform safety tests for the following components always during burner maintenance or
checking. Perform tests at least once a year.
