• When the plate (9) has reached the desired temperature, the temperature indicator
light (10) turns off.
During steam ironing the temperature indicator light (10) occasionally turns
on to indicate that the iron (8) is heating to reach the set temperature.
If, after ironing using an high temperature, you decide to lower it with the
thermostat (11), wait until the temperature indicator light (10) turns on
again before continuing ironing in order to not damage fabrics.
Steam ironing
• The “
steam ready
” indicator light (h) comes on 3 minutes after switching on the iron,
meaning that it is ready for use.
Press the button (12), the pump starts and after a few seconds the iron emits a steam
flow.
The pump could generate small noises for a few seconds until it “catches”
water from the tank (2).
Decreased steam flow means that you must wait until the indicator light
(h) comes on again.
If the steam function is not used for a few minutes, steam inside the iron
could condense and become water.
When beginning to iron, this transformation could cause the leakage of
some water drops from the plate (9).
To prevent the drops from dropping on your pieces of clothing, keep the iron
(8) on a cloth and press the button (12) a few times until steam production
normalizes. At this point you can start to iron again.
