2. Intended use
Softcontrol Data/F is an online water hardness measuring system for monitoring the residual
hardness at the outlet of a water softening system based on cation exchangers.
If the softener system is operated in such a way that two softener columns are temporarily
connected in series, then only the first softener column must be monitored. Monitoring of the
second softener column when connected in series is not permitted.
