The Windows PC recognizes a new device. The drivers required for this are located in the
same directory as the "DfuSe" update software that was installed in step 1.
Note:
If the Windows PC does not automatically find the device driver, the driver path must
be specified. This can be found in the same directory in which the "DfuSe" software was
installed.
After successful driver installation, the system must have added a new device called “STM
Device in DFU Mode”. A successful driver installation can be checked in the Windows de-
vice manager.

Start the "DfuSe" software

The entry “STM Device in DFU Mode” now appears under “Available DFU Devices”. If
this entry does not appear, the device driver was not installed successfully and must be
installed again under Windows.
