POSITIONING JACK

The manufacturer and/or distributor have provided
the parts list and assembly diagram in this manual
as a reference tool only. Neither the manufacturer
nor distributor makes any representation or warranty
of any kind to the buyer that he or she is qualified to
make any repairs to the product, or that he or she
is qualified to replace any parts of the product. In
fact, the manufacturer and/or distributor expressly
states that all repairs and parts replacements should
be undertaken by certified and licensed technicians,
and not by the buyer. The buyer assumes all risk and
liability arising out of his or her repairs to the original
product or replacement parts thereto, or arising out of
his or her installation of replacement parts thereto.

Use caution when troubleshooting a malfunctioning
Vehicle Position Jack. Stay well clear of the supported
load. Completely resolve all problems before use. If
the Vehicle Position Jack is malfunctioning, have a
qualified technician inspect and repair the Vehicle
Position Jack before use.

BLEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

For the 1st use or if the Jack has not been used for
a while, it may be necessary to bleed the air from
the system.

1.  Turn the Release Valve 1-1/2 turns

counterclockwise.

2.  Press the Foot Pedal at least 10 times quickly to

force the air out of the system.

3.  Top off with a clean, quality Hydraulic Jack Fluid

if necessary.

4.  Close the Release Valve.

MAINTENANCE

Dirt is the greatest cause of failure in hydraulic units.
Keep the jack clean and well lubricated to prevent foreign
matter from entering the system. If the jack has been
exposed to rain, snow, sand, or grit, it must be cleaned
immediately to prevent rust and corrosion.

1.  A periodic coating of light lubricating oil to pivot

points, adjusting points, etc. will help to prevent
rust and assure that all components move freely.

2.  Store the jack in a well-protected area where it will

not be exposed to corrosive vapors, abrasive dust,
or any other harmful elements.

3.  Replace the oil in the reservoir at least once per

year. To check the oil, place the jack on level
ground and expand the jack by pulling the rollers
apart. Remove the oil plug. The oil level should
be at the bottom of the filler plug hole. Add
approved anti-wear hydraulic jack oil, and install
the oil plug again.

IMPORTANT: The use of alcohol, hydraulic brake fluid,
detergent motor oil, or transmission oil could damage the
seals and result in jack failure.

STORAGE

Always store the Vehicle Position Jack in a well-protected
area where it will not be exposed to inclement weather,
corrosive vapors, abrasive dust, or any other harmful
elements.
