7. Settings
OEG CPA-E 100 series
7.2. AUTO mode
In AUTO mode the pump can slowly adapt to the actual heat
requirement. Therefore allow the AUTO mode 5 to 7 days to adapt
to your system before considering a change into another mode.
If you change back to AUTO mode, the last settings will be used.
For this CPA-E pumps are equipped a memory function.
For more information about pump settings and power diagrams
please see chapter 12.1.
7.3. Proportional pressure (BL) and constant pressure control
With these two control modes the motor pump performance and
the corresponding power consumption are determined by the
heat requirements of the heating system.
Proportional pressure control (BL):
The differential pressure at both ends of the motor pump is
regulated by the flow rate. Fig. Q/H shows the proportional
pressure characteristic (BL 1-9).
See chapter 11.3.
Constant pressure control (HD):
The differential pressure remains constant at both ends of the
motor pump. It does not change with the flow rate. Fig. Q/H
shows a horizontal constant pressure characteristic. It is the HD
characteristic (1-9).
See chapter 11.3.
7.4. Constant speed
This mode works with a constant pump speed.
