The Advanced menu allows you to set advanced system configuration. Note
that if items are incorrectly set in this menu, the system might malfunction.

Enables redirection of
video and keyboard to
serial port COM1.

Serial Video:
Enabled, Disabled. Enables redirection of video and
keyboard to COM1.
Baud Rate:
9600, 19.2K, 38.4K, 57.6K, 115K. Selects baud rate
for serial console.
Post Video Mode:
Text, Graphical. Selects which video mode to display
during POST.
Secured Setup Configurations:
Yes or No. Yes prevents the operating system from
overriding selections you have made in Setup.
Installed O/S:
Other, Win95. Selects the operating system you use
most often.
Reset Configuration Data:
Yes or No. Yes erases all configuration data in a section
of memory for ESCD (Extended System Configuration
Data) which stores the configuration settings for non-
PnP plug in devices. Select Yes when required to restore
the manufacturer’s defaults.
Large Disk Access Mode:
DOS, Other. Select DOS if you have DOS. Select
Other for another operating system such as Unix.
Watchdog:
Enabled, Disabled. Enables watchdog timer.
PCI IRQ Routing:
Method 1, 2.
