Bright or Dark Spots 

Both  of  these  phenomena  are  due  to  particulate  grids  contamination. Whether  it’s  bright or 
dark depends on which grid the contaminant is attached to. In either case, grids must be thor-
oughly cleaned (see Section 8.1).
