- Remote control may not be within the range of the unit. Be sure to 

  have the remote control within a 20 foot radius in front of the unit.

- The air conditioner may have been improperly installed. Tilt the air 

  conditioner slightly outward to allow water to drain out. Refer to the 

  "HOW TO INSTALL" section on page 19 or check with the person 

  who installed the unit initially.

 - The noise may be due to window vibration. This can happen when 

   the air conditioner is installed incorrectly. Refer to the "HOW TO 

  INSTALL" section on page 19 or check with the person who
